Hi, I’m the founder of Three Bears Childcare 🐻

I first started Three Bears back in 2015, running it with a real passion for creating something special for children and families. In 2023, I made the decision to step back and invest in my own learning — completing my degree in Early Education and going on to study a Masters in Social Work.

That time has shaped my vision even more. I truly believe childcare can – and should – be different to what’s often available in larger nursery settings today.

For me, it’s about:

✨ Smaller, more personal environments where every child is truly known

✨ Mixed age groups that feel more like a family and support natural development

✨ Valuing staff properly – with good pay, ongoing training, and real investment in their wellbeing

✨ Offering flexible, ad-hoc care that actually works for modern family life

✨ Working holistically with families – because when childcare works for parents, it works better for the child too

Three Bears has always been about more than just childcare — it’s about building a supportive, nurturing community around each child and their family.

I am Three Bears Childcare's Nursery Manager.

I have over 10 years of experience in early years and childcare and am passionate about creating nurturing environments where every child can feel happy, confident and supported to reach their full potential.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of managing a variety of nursery settings, from little to large! This has given me a wealth of experience in building strong relationships with children and families, maintaining high standards of care and education, and developing confident, knowledgeable and passionate staff teams.

As I begin this exciting new chapter, I am looking forward to getting to know all of our children, families and staff and working together to create a nursery community where children thrive and where families feel welcomed, valued and confident in the care we provide.
